On April 8th, the reporter saw at the construction site of the project that all four main buildings in the first phase had been topped out, and workers were carrying out internal equipment installation and other work indoors.

Yao Yunqi, deputy production manager of the "the Belt and Road" International Road Port Logistics Service Base Project of CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., said that the project had resumed construction since the middle of March. At present, more than 1000 people were on the scene. Now, curtain wall construction of each building and interior decoration of electromechanical installation are under way. Building 1 is mainly used for office purposes, while buildings 2, 3, and 4 mainly provide warehousing services. The entire project is expected to reach delivery conditions by June 30th of this year.

As a key project at the autonomous region level, the "the Belt and Road" International Road Port Logistics Service Base Project is an important part of Urumqi International Inland Port Area, which will be mainly used to undertake road transportation in the international inland port area after completion. The total construction area of the first phase of the project is 158900 square meters, including a freight bus terminal, transit warehouse, e-commerce express goods warehouse, urban distribution warehouse, e-commerce business building, etc.
